The Wembley Downs District Fair is back this 31st of October 2026, bringing the community together for a much-loved day out for the whole family.

Now is the 58th year, the Fair has become a highlight on the local calendar – a celebration of local people, community spirit and good old-fashioned fun.
“It’s all about having some fun, supporting local and spending time together as a community,”
“There’s so much for younger children to enjoy, and so many local groups and families involved in make the day special.”
Children can meet the gentle therapy horses from Claremont Therapeutic Horses, visit the petting farm, enjoy face painting, bounce on the bouncy castles and cool down with traditional lemonade.
The stage will be alive entertainment including the Coastal Scottish Pipe Band, Irish Dancing, All Star Dance, You Can Do It and performances from local primary school choirs and music groups.
Wander through stalls showcasing local arts and crafts, handmade cards, woodwork, plants, second-hand books, homemade cakes and traditional Christmas cakes, as well as an art display featuring the work of the local artists.
The scouts will be firing up the barbeque for their famous sausage sizzle, and there’ll be plenty of other delicious food and treats to enjoy.
It’s a chance to mee neighbours, support local groups and enjoy a wonderful family day out.
One of the few traditional community fairs still running north of the river, the Wembley Downs District Fair is a day not to be missed!
